Perichi's Hotel is located in one of the most splendid natural settings and historic places in Puerto Rico. Cabo Rojo meaning " Red Cape", is one of the Islands oldest cities. It is believed that Christopher Columbus disembarked in Cabo Rojo November 19, 1493, during his voyage and discovery of the "Enchanted Island" of Puerto Rico. Birthplace of Roberto Cofresí Ramírez de Arellano, best known as "El Pirata Cofresí" (1791-1825), a Puertorrican pirate who in 1824 sachet and destroyed 8 vessels, one of them North American, sharing his bout with his shipmates, family and most needed.
Joyuda is known as "the mecca of seafood eating" with more than 20 restaurants in a mile stretch offering a variety of seafood and international cuisine, including Perichi's Steak N' Sea Restaurant. Just three minutes from Perichi's Hotel is Club Deportivo del Oeste where you can enjoy a tennis match or a round of golf.

The people from Cabo Rojo are very friendly and happy. El Poblado de Boquerón is a must see! A small coastal town full of bars, pubs, stores and a great nightlife on weekends and all summer long. Also, Cabo Rojo's square is full of life at night with small cafes around the square. During the day you can shop at a great variety of mini stores and shops or visit The Mayagüez Mall, the biggest shopping center in western Puerto Rico.
